Production /CNC Operator

Permanent/ Full Time role available for a well established business in Tamworth :-
: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Breaks: 15-minute morning break and 30-minute afternoon break

Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery (Howa and V-Turn) and a range of hydraulic presses, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
•    Operate CNC machines (Howa and V-Turn) in accordance with production requirements
•    Operate a range of hydraulic presses safely and efficiently
•    Conduct visual inspections of finished components
•    Use calibrated measuring equipment to ensure products meet required specifications
•    Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
•    Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times

Skills and Experience
Essential:
•    Previous experience operating CNC machinery or hydraulic presses, XYZ – 4 Axis Machine 
•    Ability to carry out accurate visual inspections
•    Experience using calibrated measuring equipment
•    Good attention to detail
•    Strong communication skills
•    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Desirable:
•    Experience operating both CNC machinery and hydraulic presses (training will be provided where required)

Pay: £16 per hour (negotiable dependant on experience). 
30 days annual leave, including 18 free choice days and UK Bank Holidays.
