Location: Corby, NorthamptonshireÂ
Salary: £12.71 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)Â
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm OpportunityÂ
Working Hours:Â
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pmÂ
Occasional evenings and weekends requiredÂ
30-minute unpaid lunch break plus two 15-minute paid tea breaks
About the RoleÂ
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Paint Technician on behalf of a well-established and growing client within the coatings industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in a hands-on, technical role.Â
The successful candidate will be involved in colour matching and producing customer-specific coatings for a variety of materials including wood, plastic, and glass. This role requires precision, focus, and a strong understanding of mathematics.Â

- Mix, tint and adjust paints in line with customer specifications and internal formulasÂ
- Accurately follow processes and complete orders within required timeframesÂ
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detailÂ
- Complete all mandatory trainingÂ
- Ensure work areas are clean, organised, and safeÂ
RequirementsÂ
- Good understanding of mathematics (essential)Â
- Strong attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- Ability to lift up to 25kg independentlyÂ
- Good level of literacy and numeracyÂ
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamÂ
- Strong work ethic and professional attitudeÂ
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft OfficeÂ
- Right to work in the UKÂ
