Warehouse Operative - Day shift

We are currently recruiting for full time Warehouse Operatives in Cumbernauld G67 2XN. This is a temporary but ongoing contract with the possibility of a permanent role for the right person – this could be you! 

You MUST be available to work every Thursday and Friday, with weekends as a minimum. Only applicants with FULL TIME availability will be considered.  

Shift times & Pay rates: 

Day Shift starting from as early as 08:00 up to 18:00 hrs  

Pay rate £12.73 increasing to £12.96 

Weekend Day pay rate starting at £12.97 increasing to £15.55 

 

As a Warehouse Operative you will be picking prepacked food for a well-known High Street Retailer using a voice pick headset, whilst working in a chilled environment, between 2 and 4 degrees. Therefore, a good knowledge of both verbal and written English is a must. 

 

You will also be breaking down and allocating goods while achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager. Other duties may include some heavy lifting. 

 

The ideal Warehouse Operative will have previous experience working in a warehouse; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.  

 

You will have good attention to detail and must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable.  

 

The ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines and being punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance is a must.
