Job Description
We are recruiting a skilled inspection operative to join our team at IBF in Holyhead! Â
Â
Key responsibilities will include:Â
Responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers.Â
•      Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHEÂ
•      Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requestedÂ
•      Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection processÂ
•      Updating the PINC Yard Management System following trainingÂ
•      Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectivesÂ
•      Maintain the inspection environment following trainingÂ
•      COSHH Awareness following trainingÂ
•      Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and officesÂ
•      Champion a health and safety cultureÂ
 Â
The ideal candidate will have:Â
Logistics experience in a large fast-moving environmentÂ
Strong warehouse system experienceÂ
A strong knowledge of Health & Safety at workÂ
Experience of working to agreed targetsÂ
Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, OutlookÂ
Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. loading, unloading vehicles.Â
Forklift licence/experience ideal.Â
Conditions:Â
Shift patterns will be any 4/7– 12hrs per dayÂ
You are required to work ays and nights 6am-6pm/6pm-6amÂ
Weekly or monthly pay availableÂ

To be eligible you need:Â
NO unspent convictions and be able to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS check)Â
Ability to provide 3 years referencing contacts and have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.Â
