SEND Reform Implementation Lead
Location: West Sussex (Hybrid Working)
Rate per day: £750 - £850 per day LTD
Working Arrangements: Full Time - 37 Hours per Week
Requirements: Travel across West Sussex required depending on service and delivery needs.
We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Reform Implementation Lead to support West Sussex County Council in delivering transformational change across SEND and Inclusion services.
This is a high-profile strategic leadership role, focused on preparing and implementing SEND reforms while ensuring improved outcomes for children and young people across education, health and care services.

- Drive system-wide improvement through partnership working with education settings, health services, families and key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic leadership across SEND and Inclusion services.
- Balance statutory compliance, financial sustainability and service capacity throughout implementation.
- Influence and advise senior leaders, partners and decision-makers.
- Oversee resource management and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Significant experience leading large-scale SEND transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policy and reform agendas.
- Proven ability to work strategically within complex and evolving environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience working across education, local authority and partner organisations.
- Passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Resilient, adaptable and confident managing ambiguity, complexity and change.
